So i was thinking about doing some snow themed bases for my Tau army that is still in the planning stage. I want everything to be planned out before i start. Basically i wanna kinda paint the stealth effect on my stealth suits and thought snow (white with highlighting i guess?) would be an easy thing to paint for the 'stealthed' part. With that in mind, i would need a snow base for my entire army so it makes sense
Now you have the background info, it comes to the main question:
Has anyone had any experience with the GW snow flock? Is it just like white sand or more like static grass? Are there better alternatives to making a snow base that is easily achievable and looks better? I've looked into a mix with baking soda and it looks interesting, anyone had experiences with this?
Thanks for your time.
I have tried it and trying it as we speak... it is like... well snow! Except it doesn't melts! It is like baking soda kind of thing... I have seen that using Super Glue gives better results...

Hope I helped a bit!
Thanks to all the people showing faith in me
