So i was looking at the masters of the chapter book and saw the Master the Arsenal. In White dwarf 333(the new one) it says that he is wearing Mark 3 power armour. now i tried looking and cant find anything that look anything like ti. Now i want to start a space marine army. But want only that armour. i figure i will have to model it, but does anyone have any tips on wear to start or which armour would be the easilest to start with or even better yet wear i can get MKIII armour that is plastic and looks like his. And why is it every time i spell armor with a U spell check says its wrong?
That would be because you are in south jersey, meaning your computer is set up in america, which means that the grammar settings are american style. (The english used in america does not incorporate old english words with altered spellings like armour or honour.)And why is it every time i spell armor with a U spell check says its wrong?
You may want to look over your post though, since spellcheck won't tell you your using the wrong form of a word unless it makes absolutely no grammatical sense. (Your use of wear when you mean to be using where in this case.)

Mark 3? Ancient History... Finding such armor and especially in plastic form, which I really don't know if it exists, needs much research and work... Good luck with it though...
One think that passed my mind right now is to make it yourself using either thin plasticard or greenstuff...

Yeah sorry about the grammatical errors I am in class and trying not to be seen by my teacher. I am in English class. Go figure. But yeah I went to grammar school in England and I am Currently living in New Jersey. I always forget where I am when online. Sorry.(The English like having Us after Os)
I know I can make the legs, but the heads i am worried about i am probably going to bitz order heads. Oh god this is going to be a long and painful process. Any suggestions on which heads to use.
If i am looking at the correct model (the bloke with power sword, holding his helm?)
Then i think your best bet would be to use the plastic SM torso that only has the skull on you should know which 1 im blabbering about
Take off the skull, use GS to make the Aquila, and then a Crux peice to cover the 'abdomen pipes'
As for the heads, i think the best head you could use, would be the Company Champion helm, carefully make the 'breathing slits'? and hey presto you have a Mk3 helm
Shoulder pads might be an issue, looking at the model, but assuming that his are like that because he's a 'hero', then normal pads should be suffice
but thats my opnion, and how i would go about making Mk3 power armour hope its of some help
(also, i just noticed he has a powerfist too >_< ah dear :p )

Oh darn my post yesterday didn't go through. It said something about only metal models have Mk3. The only other Mk3 besides classic include the new captain and one of the tyrannic war veterans models. Both models look great. For the helmet I suggest the Iron Warriors helm that everybody uses, and the Bezerker one that has a T visor.

Just take a regular helmet, cut away the faceplate and sculpt a new one using green stuff.
I've done this a few times, and got positive results every time. In fact, one Mk III got finished last week (looks like a cross between that IW champ head and the Master of Armoury helmet).
It's easier than it seems.
The rest of Mk III armor is not that much different from the Mk VII visually, and you'll only need cosmetic adjustments here and there (perhaps slap on some extra armor plating made with GS / plasticard).
The black templar sprue would help out very much. linky
It has 4 helmets and the torsos are easy to to convert with greenstuff and/or plasticard.
