I plan on finally using a Daemon Prince or two in my Night Lords army. I hate the normal head the model comes with and I've been searching around for something a bit less daemonic.
I noticed the head on the Defiler, well, the helmet one. Is this helmet to the same scale of the Daemon Prince? I don't mind converting a bit to fit but the size is my main worry. I don't want to buy the entire sprue for just one head and find out its too small, if its too big, I can hack it up to fit.
Also, best wings for the Daemon Prince? Plastic Dragon wings seem to fit the deal but what about Belakor(sp)? The chains hanging off seem to be a nice touch, but yet again, I don't want to buy them just to find out they are the wrong size.
A) The masks on the Defiler are fine; used one myself. I preferred the skull-like one with the slits in the mouth. The others are cool though.
Belakor's Wings should be fine IMHO. Never used them but they look sweet. Dragon Wings are majestic looking, very big and bad and scary. Just as a DP should be. You can add skulls and chains to them too.
i use the balrog daemon from the lotr range and it works awsome. come with wings and two choices for weapons, sword or a whip. its alto huge and very intimidating!
defiler should be fine, also check out the inquisitor 54mm model range, perhaps a demonhost head?
Everything you have been told is a lie!
