Has anyone attempted this? If so could someone write up a brief idea on how you did it.;YThank you!
i have its easy
just drill into the arms and body with a drill bit the same size as the magent drill a pilto hole with a smaller size first then make sure the depth is right so magnets fit properly inside the arms and glue make sure polarity is right or it wont work
I'd use 1/16th inch magnets(or 1/32 if you can find them) use a pinvise/drill of the same size and drill a shallow hole. Test fit the magnet to make sure its just deep enough and apply a drop of glue into the hole and pop the magnet in.
One tip though is to make sure the +/- orientation of the magnets are the same(or oposite if you want to selectively use parts) plan it out so that interchangable parts are only interchangable with the appropriate side.
(it doesn't really matter which the polarity of the magnet is, as long as you know what side sticks to what)
--Left Arm -/+ -/+ Body +/- +/-Right arm
As an example up there, if you put all of your "left arms" in that polarity orientation, then only left arms will fit on the appropreate side of the body, and same for the right arm. BUT if you want them to be universally interchangeable, just make sure they're all in the same orientation.
Hope this helps.
W/D/L Eleventy trillion billion/NONE/ NONE - I am STILL rulezor!
WINDMILLS DO NOT WORK THAT WAY!
try and get your hands on some extra shoulder pads!
i magnatised all of the arms only to find out there was only three included
i used those magnets
i think theyak has included everything you need to know though
I plan to magnetized the shoulder pads too.
