Biomorphs as above with: Adrenal Glands (I, WS), Toxin Sacs.
I built him using the Carnifex rules with the added Winged and Warp Field Biomorphs (for re-entry protection) and I upgraded the shooting weapons accordingly.
That thing is cool. I like the head. It is very clever what you did with the adrenal gland by turning it into big buggy eyes. I may have to copy that. I didn't notice the wings at first as the background was too dark. What are the wings from, they look interesting.
I do wish we could see some of these models being painted so that it can be seen how effectively the conversions work when painted. I do wish you would also take the time to trim the models as it will greatly improve thier quality.
Again though I have to say this thing (bio-interceptor) is very cool.
Love it! "Bio-Interceptor" it is.
I will eventually paint them all this winter. I am getting them all primed for that before the temperature prohibits or at least discourages priming.
Those wings really make the model, in my opinion. Nice first picture.
How do they get translucent though?
I think the wings are really fitting for the project. Very creative conversion as well.
All of these Apocoylpse conversions are really urging me to push past the standard game into the huge scale one!
Very interesting work here, awesome looking mini and well done on the wings as well, you have obviously piqued a lot of people's curiosity.
I'm just glad my friend who plays 'nids would never get himself motivated to make a similar one or I'd be in fear of it!
The wings are printed with a normal printer on "transparency paper". They have that at any office store. You print on the "rough" side. Make sure you set the printer for transparency paper in the preferences.
