I was trying to think of a cool color scheme for my veterans that would stand out from the normal assault squads in my army what ive come up with is paint them with yellow armor and red helmets, the reverse of standard assault squads and maybe use some of the cool BT crusader helms and i wanted to know if this sounds like a cool idea to make my veteran assault sqauds stand out! I appreciate all you comments!
Why not just go with gold shoulder-guard's in addition to the yellow helmet? They are only veterans after all, such a drastic change to represent them should not be entirely necessary unless you really wanted to do that...:C

Hmmm i like the gold shoulder pad idea, or just yellow rim around shoulder pad! Thank you for you imput!
Gold shoulder and a blood drop on the helmet, will that work?
Don't Veteran Assault Marines normally have gold helmets? Or is that the Honour Guard...?
Anyway, shoulder pad rims would work, or gold weapons?
Even basing them 'better' (ie: more impressively) would make them stand out plenty.

Gold helmet is for Honour guards only, but the vet assault squad should have a skull symbol on their right shoulders.
