okay so after trying to come up and find a paint scheme i found one. it was the zahr-tann i believe on the games workshop eldar schemes. I was very nervous at first but now that i got the main colors down im pretty happy. its not completely done yet though. I still have to paint blue gems on him which is the part I'm really nervous about. anyway comments or suggestions would be nice on my first paint job. and if you see a little white on it dont worry this model was given to me from a friend so i could try out a paint scheme and it already had some paint on it.
on the scheme that stuff was still black. all i need is the blue gems with some highlights
I agree with that mutant thing completely.
I used to be superbock, if anyone cares.
well im just following the scheme. http://us.games-workshop.com/games/4...images/9lg.jpg
I think its the highlights that bring it out or I'm doing something wrong. But like I said I'm not completely finished I just wanted to know how good I was doing for a first model.
looks ok for a first try. With a little bit of highlighting and the gems done it will look really good8Y
DOWN WITH THE FALSE EMPEROR!!!MAY HIS GALAXY BURN!!!
I like it! It looks almost evil... unlike MOST eldar
Looks pretty good for your your first model. It's very neatly painted. Next up you'll want to try to bring out those highlights and shadows.
You mentioned going for blue gems? Bear in mind that dark blue gems may be lost with your dark colour scheme. What about some gems in warm colours like red or yellow? They will stand out agains the dark surface much better than blue or green...
Looking forward to following your progress.
