I voted for storm chaser(yay for being a good sport, otherwise I would have voted for myself), his mount was cool though I might have done the color scheme a little different, who will you vote for?
Dear All Concerned,
Although the other paintings are very high quality (and I mean no offense to anyone) my vote goes to tekore because, I know how hard it can be to be a beginner and not only did he finish the model, he painted and entered it!
Great Job All!

I voted for Guant, I like his pose and how it was inspired by the Roosevelt Rough Riders and an actual photo. All of my fellow entrants did beautiful work, and should be proud! I'm just glad to be in such great company, heh.
Although I dislike the rough rider model, I rather like Gaunt's paint job.
Wow, just when I think the painting standard is high, some new people join and make me feel like an even worse painter. Way to go I guess :rofl

Stormchaser, I really like your paint job. However, I ended up voting for Lickar. In the end, what convinced me was his attention to highlights and shading. Your model is beautiful (I mean that), but the shield, for instance, was rather monotone and in the very least, needed a little more shading. Still, it's an excellent paint job, and you should be proud. 8Y8Y8Y

I had to vote for Tekore, the idea for the conversion was gold. It also had a very entertaining title, good work .
Lickar, brilliant highlights and detailing, closely followed by stormchaser, really great model, it just didn't quite wow me as much as Lickar's model the first time I saw it. May be down to the shield, I read your bit that its meant to be a mirror shield, but with the texturing of the paint, or possibly the metal below it, it just didn't loook quite right.
aut viam inveniam aut faciam / I'll either find a way or make one.
I voted for Lickar as I know how hard the white can be and the off-white of the robes...
Thanks to all the people showing faith in me
I sometimes feel that everyone will leave me and they will be on their own...
