I want to make some cadian rough riders for my guard army. I am going to use lizardmen cold ones for the mounts and cadian torsos/heads/arms. I'm not sure what to do for the legs, as they have to be straddling the cold one saddle. Can anyone suggest a set of riding legs that look remotely cadian?
Also, any cool ideas for modelling the charge on the end of the hunting lance would be appreciated.
I'm not using cold ones, but I am using Pistolers for my Rough Riders. The heads/torsos/legs fit together perfectly. And with a bit of work on the cloaks, they could word rather well too.
I was looking for a roughrider cold one conversion when I was working on my guard as well. One of the ideas I cam upon was trying the kislevite mounted archer legs. They were one of the few fantasy legs that I thought would work on the cadian torso with minimal greenstuffing. I never got around to converting the riders as my guard have taken the back burner to my Orks.
Keeep in mind I was working on this before the empire release so I don't know how the new rider legs would look.
