I am going to start making a plaguereaper very soon. I don't like the pus cannon that the GW guys constructed- it looks a bit too phallic. Can anyone suggest an alternative? I'm thinking of bits-ordering a hell-cannon for this, but I'm very open to other suggestions.
The chaos hellcannon would look nice, I agree, but it's more Khorne than nurgle. You could always go for a piece of tubing, suitably covered in rust, holes, dripping nastiness, glue, etc. Putting the head of a greater daemon of nurgle on the end (mouth for barrel) would get away from the phallic look.
The chimney off the manufactorum might work, but you'd have to order 2 sprues to get it (£12). Some sort of bizarre organic effect could be achieved with a tyrannid spore chimney, or even a WHFB plastic tree, for maximum weirdness. How good are you with Green Stuff?
I would have tried a big pair of puke-encrusted lips on the front. Kiss me darling.
And over there we have the labyrinth guards.
One always lies, one always tells the truth, and one stabs people who ask tricky questions.
Screw puss, making it crazy fire! Place two buckets or giant barrels on the back where the sponsors would be and link tubes up to the normal battle cannon and use it like a giant flame thrower cannon.
I just think use a normal cannon and green stuff it up make it look a little deformed but not overly.
Because I hate the look of the pus cannon personally.
