Well you gots to have wings with your prince. You just gots to!
Here is my Demon Prince
I did some pretty simple converting, cut off and reshaped the head and added spikey fins on the top. Added a blade popping out of the right hand, and drilled in wings on the back using manticore wings. For the green stuff, I used vaseline on my tools and was very happy with how little things stuck. I've tried water and spit (yes spit), but haven't been really satisfied with them as lubricating agents. I just primed him last night and am very happy with the results.
Here he is:
That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
warmonkey, that's a really fine conversion you have here. Very well positioned and thought out. These are some of the best wings I've seen on a prince.
Couple of suggestions: You may want to use more g.s. around the places on the head, where you removed the original horns. Also, any chance of getting a close up of the back, namely, where the wings attach?
Spambot kill tally. . .337
Yeah, I thought about using some GS to get in the horns, but used some Zap a Gap and since it is clear, it is hard to see. I haven't gotten a chance to take a close look after prime, but will do that later.
Here is the back of the wings. I tried to make it organic looking, and think it looks pretty ok.
I'm a GS newbie, so be gentle.
