So with Christmas coming up and my cash reserves on low, i decided i want to convert something for my parents as a gift. I have something in mind but unsure about how to accomplish it.
Since they're my parents, and they carry me through the rough times and help me when i need it, i figured why not have an IG soldier carrying a wounded shoulder off the battlefield.
It would basically be a wounded shoulder with his arm slung over the shoulder of the other as they walk to safety.
However, it's not so easy to do with the parts supplied with the IG set, and my conversion skills are weak.
Unfortunately there simply are no other alternatives short of sculpting the models entirely from scratch.
Forge World have some "at ease" Death Korps, they might be good.
And over there we have the labyrinth guards.
One always lies, one always tells the truth, and one stabs people who ask tricky questions.
I can't really see a way short of remodeling shoulders and hands to give a good looking conversion like that. If you're up to it then go for it but it might be rather tricky.
Up, up and away!
That's a sick idea, I suggest not going Cadians (I just hate them), you'll need to convert the wounded dude, change his legs a bit (probably sculpt a bit), move the arms around, maybe heating it up and bending it would be good there.
Also, have him slinging his pistol at something, that'd look cool.
