Now that I am finished with my Grot Rebellion Guard army and so sick of green and paintly flesh its time for some kick ass robots. Some of you may remember my Adeptus Mechanicus idea I mentioned a while back, well I’m glad to announce that the first miniature has been created and I’m seeking your views on it?
The Dragoon is the main attack unit for the renegade Zanatorian Machine Cult and represents a Necron Warrior on the tabletop.
‘Designed by the fifth Zanatorian Knight Proiteus Kruger the Dragoon was originally created to support Zanatorian Knights during their crusades across space. A machine featuring both bio and cybernetic components and armed with a powerful electrical weapon, this supported by the Dragoon’s anti-grav generator and built in self repair systems has earned it the task of being the Zanatorian army’s core infantry unit.’
Any feedback would be grateful?
Great idea! Great execution! I like!!
Wow! I like the idea of this!
I might just have to turn rogue and give in to heresy! lol
Can't wait to see how this evolves...
Those are great looking, nice work!
It's always a treat to see your stuff. You make me happy.
I do however think you should get some brighter paint on them eyes to make them look like the concept sketch, glowing and such.
It would also be the perfect opportunity to add some OSL(?).. or whatever that gloweffect is called, i tried it on my sentinel and it's quite easy to get at least a tabletop result (draws a deep CMON-sigh)
Good luck with this project mate
Wicked, purely wicked.
AWESOME minitures, although I wonder if the tech is entirely Ad-Mech appropriate, non-superstitious or no.
A very cool conversion I must say. I agree that adding some bright colours to give it a more "glowy" feel would enhance it even more.
