Hey all. I've got a conversion project in mind at the moment to create some larger marines to be a little more imposing (pre-heresy T-sons). I was wondering if it would be possible to just slice the thigh and shins in half and space them about 1mm apart, then filling the gap? My concern is that the legs (the shins anyway) are tapered and the stretch might look odd. Will I have to sculpt over the entire leg to blend it in properly?
The word you are looking for here is "Truescale". It's when people make marines as tall as they were meant to be. Just search truescale on multiple forums and you'll find a plethora of guides and examples.
