Walkrants have Tyrant Guards, so why not Flyrant Guards for Flyrants:

I like 'em, but flying Tyrants can't take Tyrant Guard at all.
You plan on taking them as a warrior brood?
They are a rather interesting bunch. I like the look of the Hive tyrant. It looks very imposing, looming over everything like that with it's big wings. The flying critters you have made look interesting too. May I ask where you got those wings?
I think that they are a little too small to pass for Tyrant guard. Tyrant guard are very big and heavy looking, that's why they get to 'guard' the Hive tyrant. I would suggest that if you are going to make winged Tyrant guard that you use something bigger.
It is true that Winged Hive tyrants can't have Tyrant guard, I'm assuming that they would follow rules of your own design with your opponents agreeing. It might be good to make them have a poorer armour save as being winged they would need to be lighter.
Still I do think that they are interesting. They would make decent winged Tyranid warriors with a few biomorphs and bits added for size. I think is the concern with them as Tyrant guard, that they are too small.
The tyrant has Balrog wings. The flyers have "Dire Bat" wings from plastic DnD figs.
As leech said, If you make some rules for them, I'd suggest lowering their armour save by at least 1, even if just for the fact winged models can't have extended carapace, so it would make sense that flyguards would have a lower save. Also agree with many people here that they look a little...weak. Even with a lower save they should be bulked out a bit more, I mean look at the current guards, they look like they could survive having a tank drive over them, so maybe incorporate a similar look onto the flyguards.
