Now I'm not asking about how to do it, and instead of adding onto tekore's post I thought I'd do this one.
The other week I went into mindgames and asked the guy behind the counter about stripping the paint, he said he knew a guy that did painting for commission and that "easy-off bam!" works. And as I found out just today, after actually scrubbing with a toothbrush, it does work. So just for anyone out there for a hassle free and quick way to strip models, easy off bam is the go and its only about 5 bucks.
Edit : No disrespect to tekore on this, I just thought that simple green stuff looks a bit expensive, and probably only available in the US, and even if its in aus or other countries, its probably nowhere near as easy to find as easy off bam, and even though I don't have pics for proof, the pieces come out looking just as good as tekore's stuff. So choose whatever you want, just thought you'd all like to know is all.

You know what, I'm so amazingly un-suprised that there is an Australian cleaning product called "easy-off bam!" that I had no adverse reaction to a product name that is so down right silly it would, normally, have had me falling over in pained hilarity.
Strange but true.
Good tip for all you pesky Ozzies out there.
Tie me kangaroo down, would ya?

Yeah no worries mate, pop a shrimp on the barbie will ya? Cor blimey!
Wow, that has got to be the single most awesome cleaning product of all time. And isn't the ad inspirational?? "BAM and the dirt is gone", powerful stuff that is. Literature at it's best.
So would you need to leave the model in some or will the paint come straight off with a bit on a toothbrush?
pop a [insert dead animal here] on the barbie for me will ya mate, before the flies get into 'em. Anyone seen my thongs? /lame oh well. Kangaroo on the barbie=heaven.
Thet sell this stuff in the US, as well. I have seen the catchy commercials here in Iowa, and I think I may give it a try (my mom has some under the sink)

I cant even remember the add, but I put a bunch of orks in an old ice cream tub filled with hot water and some mr muscle, cos i lost the bam, and when i drained the water out i could see flakes of paint coming off them, i havnt had time to toothbrush them yet, but it certainly worked on my chaos marines.
pop a kanga on the barbie mate, they make good transport to work and school but taste better with bbq sauce
BBQ sauce? Blasphemy!!! Well I've never had it with bbq, but like we need to Americanise (Word??) our national animal. At least you didn't say 'ketchup'. *cringes*pop a kanga on the barbie mate, they make good transport to work and school but taste better with bbq sauce
Oh and yeah, Easy off Bam, yay.
