After following Cyric The Mad's progress on his own Dark Angels Baneblade I've jumped at the chance of doing my own version.
Now obviously there is a LOT of work that still needs to be done such as finish off the de-riveting, adding plasticard panels to some of the big flat surfaces and scratch-build a demolisher cannon to name but a few.
At the moment though, here's how it looks
The holes on the former hellhammer cannon will be filled in and the circular base bit will be made to blend in with the rest of the bit. Also...
I couldn't decide whether to have these bits open or closed...so i hinged them.
Nice, I like the Assault cannon instead of the autocannon, but shouldn't this be on the conversion section
In regards to the assault cannon, I put it on because I like it more than an autocannon, but does anyone know the fluff of an assault cannon i.e. when they there discovered/invented and did it exist before the horus heresy?(seeing as chaos marines don't have 'em I 'spose not)
Assault cannons were in the developing stage during the heresy. They only became widespread afterwards, which is why the traitor legions have none.
Nice work though
There is no such thing as a plea for innocence in my court. A plea for innocence is guilty of wasting my time. Guilty.

pretty!! i can't wait to see it done.
the cake is a lie! http://www.360plex.com
I'd like to have seen Plasma Cannon sponsons.
And over there we have the labyrinth guards.
One always lies, one always tells the truth, and one stabs people who ask tricky questions.
Just bought some wetordry sandpaper so let the smoothing commence!
I've also settled on the idea of scratch-building a new exhaust system. Something along the lines of an elongated powerplant from a forgeworld dreadnought... Plus all the bits that need to be filled/smoothed with putty will be done today. I have a little surprise concerning the smoke launchers
I'll have some pictures by tonight, so have fun with life for now!
