I thought i would post what has been sidetracking me for the last 2 days.
Im supposed to be painting chaos but you know how things take your attention away...
They are the last surviving members of my old marine chapter, the legio Ferrus. I've decided to redo the army as the 'Legio Ferium' and have 2 new dark angels battleforces for that. (Far off project)
I've had so much fun playing with these guys so i decided to not sell them and instead gave them a touch-up for playing in apoc games etc.
What do you think? Any suggestions or comments?
Those looks awesome good work dude.
Wow!! they look realllly coooool!! I especially love the heavy flamer, better than i could ever do! *repped*
What to comment first? The battle damage? The color scheme? The power weapons? The heavy flamer? The poses or the bases?
They are wonderfully modelled and painted and I would greatly appreciate some more pictures sir! ;?
Thanks to all the people showing faith in me
I sometimes feel that everyone will leave me and they will be on their own...
Your poses are simply awesome, keep up the good work
Nice job all around. A few questions, if I may:
1) I especially like the armour. What is that, Dark Flesh?
2) I also LOVE the bases. Are they scratchbuilt or did you buy them like that? either way, great stuff!
3) How do they function in-game? Libby with command squad? What are the rules?
4) Are you planning a drop pod anytime soon? I can only imagine how cool that would look!
Hey, you paint just like me! Except better. A lot better. And you seem to have talent. And creativity. Yup, just like me, except for all that stuff. <rep>

Earl, it's a really good color scheme. The power weapons stand out as they should, but I don't quite follow why the sergeant's hood is the same 'power' blue. Power hood perhaps . Nah, I'm just being picking. You've done a fabulous job on these termis.

These are very nicely done, but I do have one real nitpick. The flame should be yellow in the middle/bottom, not at the top. The inside of a flame is always the hottest colour (so lightest, in this case yellow) rather than at the ends. GW do this wrong a lot as well.
Otherwise, a nice look group of minis. I like the detail gone into the bases, are they only for the termies or do/will the rest of your army have the same bases?
