Just recently joined the forums and thought I'd post some stuff on my "first" miniature conversion.
I wasn't a fan of the original Saint Celestine model so I decided to make something a bit closer to what a Living Saint in the heat of battle would look like.
Concepts and basis:
I decided to use a Seraphim Sister Superior model and the wings off of a Buzzard from the Fantasy line.
I'm in the process of making "bandages" to cover up some of the sinew and bones from the wings and have put some purity seals over those.
Work thus far:
Terribly sorry for the quality of these shots...it seems that my POS 2megapixel digital cannot take closeup shots.
Did you look to see if the camera has the little flower symbol, the one for macro or micro or whatever it's called?
I think it's probably really cool, but yeah the pictures kind of suck. No offense.
No offense taken...they truly are miserable pictures.
No macro/micro option on this thing either
I'll see if I can get a friend of mine to take better shots..
From what I can see, the pose looks good, but it is to blurry to see any detail.
For a tip on taking the pictures. I was told to put artificial light above the model when you take the picture. See how that turns out.

Hey! Look at the little.... Oh ****!
a way you can get rid of the blurynes is to take the photo from further back so the camera can focus properly and then just cut the model out of the pic using microsoft paint or something, when you take the photo it might seam like the model in the image is too small but once you put it on the computer you will probably find its not that small.
other than that i cant wait to see how this turns out;Y
and welcome to the forum:happy:
Loss is acceptable, Failure is not!
Too bad of the quality of the pictures, the models looks roight proper! 8Y
Subscribed now, so i will be watching here for updates!
Got a "good" rumour from a GW staffer? Forget about it, LO'ers know more than any random GW shop staffer.

The Dutch Legion
Welcome to LO! I didn't like the Celestine model either, so I picked up a Warmachine Harbinger of Menoth to eventually make for use. http://privateerpress.com/WARMACHINE...r_preview.html I like what you've done wit your work. Looking forward to new pictures!
My camera is only 3.2 but I'm telling you, you'll get better photos from further away, seriously further.
If you want to "zoom in" but can't focus that close, try cranking up the resolution, shooting from a distance, then using a photo editing program to crop and resize. Most cameras come with software that can do that fairly easily, but if not, you can get GIMP for free, and I'll be happy to send you instructions. Believe me, it'll come out MUCH better!
Very neat pose and I imagine that when you get quality pictures it will look fantastic.
I've always thought proper wings on the seraphim and the saint would be better!
