Hi I remembered my old Baneblade/Hellhammer, which I magnetised so it could be either the Bane, or the hellhammer, but I forgot about afterwards. Now after a bit of painting I was woundering what you guys thought?
Click on the links to see pictures:
First the inside
Then the turret of the Baneblade
And the Hellhammer
The sponsons (sorry about blury pictures, Im new to photographing and cameras) for the:
And the engine
And the baneblade with no weapons
So, post back on what is good, what is bad, what needs improving ect...
You have a very nice modelled and painted tank there!
My only objection is to the Hellgun where the joints of the two pieces can be seen and need some clearing... only this!;Y
Thanks to all the people showing faith in me
I sometimes feel that everyone will leave me and they will be on their own...
Yeah its looking good, I'd say some washes of something slightly less black to bring out the armour but since I'm not good at painting dont listen to me nice work!
Apart from the thing Tsele mentioned, I think the paint scheme makes it feel a bit more like the Fortress of Arrogance (click!) than Witch Hunters.
Looks nice though
There is no such thing as a plea for innocence in my court. A plea for innocence is guilty of wasting my time. Guilty.

Yeah, after painting I saw the fortress of arrorgance, (thanks for the link), but these are also the colours of my army, but with a dark red for the robe, not shown on the tank.
I'd say add one more color (at least) to your mix there. Something to perhaps tie it with your current army? Whatever is their main color. Plus, it will break the monotony of black+gold only. I also did some highlights on selected armor edges on my own BBlade.
Check out this thread: My own Baneblade
Question, as lots of people have said, I need to make the black better, so what do you guys highlight it with and how ect, my only attempt at highlighting black went really badly...Also I wanted it to look slightly evil, that is why I have used only two main colours, mainly, out of the two, black. To try and get across a machine built purely to kill, not look flashy ect.
very neat and tidy, but some highlights would be good
Everything you have been told is a lie!
Colors can have intimidating effect on your enemy: check some animals during their mating fights (birds especially) as well as some WWII era planes and such. Heck - even the modern US tank killing plane has the shark teeth all over its nose
