The image below is from the GW website: Games Workshop - Hordes of Chaos
I was wondering if the nurgle icon is a bit from another kit or if it's a custom sculpt, I tried sculpting one last night and it was a disaster!
If you look on the Chaos vehicle accessory sprue I think there's a bit just like that. However, it's designed to sit on a flat surface(like a vehicle), but i reckon it could be bent a little bit.

are you sure thats even a piece? the symbol on that shield looks like it was painted on if you ask me
Loss is acceptable, Failure is not!
It is the Nurgle icon from the chaos vehicle accessory sprue. Not sure how he made it conform to the shield, but he did a very good job of it.
Human beings, who are almost unique in having the ability to learn from the experience of others, are also remarkable for their apparent disinclination to do so. - Douglas Adams
Thanks, Inquisitor Blackadder, I got the icons, some shields to replace my mistakes and a Kroot accessory sprue (i like the hunks of meat hanging on hooks)
Just greenstuff a slight contour on the back-side of the piece.....
Plastic glue should soften it enough to stay in position.
And over there we have the labyrinth guards.
