Well i had extra parts left over and i wanted to work on my painted to a messed around and painted up a regular marine. I know that i am not the best and i would love C&C on how it turned out so far. But as i said it is not the best and i realize that so things like this sucks are not helpful! lol
Again any comments and criticism will be much appreciated as i only painted this to get better! Thanks again everyone
THose pics are way to big, crop them or paste them as links, before the mods do it for you. I like the yellow but I think that it needs more layers, same applies to the white.
You also need to work on your photography, but I really like the third pic staring down the barrel.
Keep on practisisng and posting
Thank you! for i white i went shadow grey, shadow gery/fortress grey, fortress grey, and then white
and the yellow is just foundation yellowish brown (forgot name) and then sunburst yellow with ink wash
I've got to say that your washes don't seem to fit well with the adjacent colours, too red and too blue but maybe that's just me.
Up, up and away!
i was just practicing techniques so i just chose yellow, cuz i have those paints and i did layering on the white because i really wanted to try that!
Dear All Concerned,
Well, these look great and I am glad to see you picking up the paint brush ST, just one thing though, you should check out the tutorials over at the GW website for practicing your painting, maybe pick a solid scheme or take one and modify it. This will make it much easier to pick up all the things to do while painting, like thinning your paints or highlighting!
Hope this helped!
