I need to get some 10mm thick foamboard, like the stuff shown in the siege of Gondor book for making castle walls.
I have tried the obvious places like B&Q and Homebase as well as my local modelling shop, they did not have it, can anyone suggest any sites (Uk based) or any decent shops. Remember I don't want about £60 worth of it, which is all I have been able to find so far, I need a decent amount but not in excessive quantities.
go to any local independant photographer and ask him to order you some they use foamcard for picture mounts of something also ask him for some corrie card, the foamcard shouldnt cost any more than £8.00 per sheet (by the way both sheets are 30'' by 40'' so the price doesnt seem so steep now the corrie card (exelent for basing models) shouldnt cost more than £6.00 a sheet. :w

i dont live in england but foam core is used to back paintings etc.
i get mine at art supply shops or do it yourself framing shops , if u find a large framing shop they might even have some offcuts for you to scab off them
