Welcome to Librarium Online!
Okay so this is actually my... umm 3rd attempt at terrain... I think it looks pretty good. I still have to blend the dead trees to the base, as you can see a distinct line at the bottom of their trunks. But overall i'm pleased with the result.
I'd still like to hear some c&c as there is obviously always room for improvment.
Thats a nice piece of terrain there mate, you should be pleased with that. I like the way you have worn the dragon teeth and randomly spaced the flock so it looks more natural. The broken tree is also a nice touch.
If you wanted to blend the trees more into the base I would suggest green stuff. Just roll up a worm of GS and place it around the base of the tree, then use your fingers/a modelling tool to shape the GS so it looks like a continuation of the ground up to the tree base - should work a treat.
Can't wait to see more of your terrain mate.
Looks pretty nice, I like the "moss."
Sweet, very very sweet. There'll be no tanks getting past those!

Good job, Razal1983, nicely done! As mentioned before, the moss is simply a wonderful touch, lending realism to the piece; it really makes it come to life! What materials and/or methods were used to create the moss? What materials were the teeth made from? I'm interested to know!
Trees are also a great touch as well, but I agree that they need some further blending into the piece to make them more believable.
Overall, awesome job. Keep on keepin on!
Well... the base was done with foam core, 5mm thickness. I cut the dragon teeth using a foam cutter (blue insulation foam) into the basic pyramid shapes and then cut the "wear and tear marks" out with an exacto. I used a 1 part glue and 3 part water mix to seal the styrofoam and then sprayed with chaos black. I based the whole thing with regular sand i got from a local play ground, and then panted some grey and white tones on the dragon teeth for the worn down rock look. I then used simple GW flock for the moss and some woodland scenics trees for the trees... haha
Thanks for the positive remarks!!!!
Nice work. You took time on all of it and made it look nice.
