I was thinking of ways to make a less 'chunky' defiler for a thousand sons army, and I thought I could do something like a martian fighting machine from War of the Worlds, with 3 stilt-like legs that would give it a leithe, 'tzeentchy' appearence.
What do you think?
sounds good, mybe a floating plaquin of some type, with a very large daemon on top?
hey, I like the floating palaquin idea, but I actually meant the martians out of the book, with their tripod walkers, not from the movie with their skimmers (if that's what you meant )
A War of the Worlds walker would make an awesome Thousands Son Defiler.
If you wanted to go all out you could cover the whole upper section with lots of markings and such.
I'd turn the forward claws into the a pair of underslung crab style claws in recessed mountings and set the Battle Cannon into the front in a ball mount.
The the claws would still be seen but they would be partially hidden under the body.
But that big milkstool gone crazy would look quite amazing in a Tzeentch army.
My influences are coming from the artwork from the Jeff Wayne WotW musical. I might post some plans here, if I ever finish them
