I'm sure you're all aware of how much of a pain removing flash can be. I've always been quite a slow modeler and it has never bothered me that much. However, now I'm trying to build an army to a deadline its starting to become a problem.
It takes me about 2 weeks (working in the evenings - 1-2 hours at most a day) to clean the flash off a basic tactical squad. Just wondering how long it takes other people, and if anyone has any wonderful tips for making the process go just a little bit faster.
I use a Schwann-Morton scaple and a needle file BTW.
Generally, and this is the only time i will EVER endorse GW modelling tools, the Clippers they sell are really top notch, I then use a scalpel to get to really fine pieces of flash that remains and finally use a file.
I can usually build a Tactical squad in about 2-4 hours when working quickly, but usually any time between 4 - 6 hours to do everything and prime. 8Y
