I'm looking to try and re-create a couple of battlewagons that I made for a previous speed freak army. The first picture is the old one that I first made and the second is the new one. Other that a good paint job what do you think is missing from the battlewagons?
and then here is the second
I appreciate any comments or criticisms! I am planning to make a few more of these with subtle variations soon, like lowering the cab down, and making one have a cab in the rear and basically drive backward. ideally with the ramp out the back still work. Let me know. thanks -Tim
I think the front of that battlewagon could benefit from a Deff Rolla most importantly.
If you are able to look at the Ork codex, turn to pages 55 and 102 for the Battlewagon entry and profile. If you have already done so here is a chance to have a staring contest with this smiley...
Hope this helps ya!
Very nice indeed! How about some more iconography, a few glyphs? And how's about some trophies, or a marine tied to the front?
What did you make the rivets out of, by the way?

They are made from small chunks of plastic chopped off of a few burst cannons. nice and round and I had a bunch lying around. still seem a little big to me, but you can see them from across the board! I don't even need to highlight them with boltgun.
I'll probably paint it bright red and add a bunch of orky text on the sides. then a little bit of scorpion green flames and she's off to the races. I plan on making a deff roller that will be coming soon, I just need to make it look good.
Yeah it looks sweet! Love the orky conversions, such a fun race, and you can get away with anything!
Just cover them in guns and random pieces and it's done
the size difference was a surprise, I thought it was a regular rhino kit.
wicked battlewagon there, thanks for givin me a few ideas there though, i love that cabin idea, having it in the back. thank you very much, yours just looks wicked good

That's a nice looking battlewagon your working on.
what did you make the sides out of. I also thought it was a rhino.

It seems to me that the sides are from a land raider. It looks like he used a land raider and a predator along with bits to make it.
The Great Plague meets The Devourer of The Galaxy. What does that make us?
