I'm fairly satisfied with the Tzeentch Lord, aside from the white. I had a really bad white, but didn't have a chance to get any better paint, so I decided to deal with it. Aside from that, I'm quite happy with the model except that my friend who plays HE keeps saying that it reminds him of of a High Elf Mage. Heresy, I say! Anyways, enough talk. More pictures!
The Hellcannon is a HUGE model, and quite intricate as well. I don't think this came out as well as it could have, but I'm okay with it, Near the end I was a bit frustrated with it and ended up rushing a bit, which is why it doesn't look as good as it could. It is, however, still a work in progress, as I haven't completed the chains or any of the Chaos Dwarves, and I could still touch up the cannon itself. Here's what I have so far!
Let me know what you think! I'm definitely a noob at painting, but I would like to learn. Any constructive criticism would be appreciated.
No, I don't have any wool.
I love the hell cannon. Such a useful model, assuming you have SoC. I would suggest cleaning up and spillage areas, and just try some drybrush shading. Good job.
Nice work on the sorcerors staff, although you look to be suffering from thick paint elsewhere. I'ld like to have seen more jazzy contraste on mr Tzeench but I'm always outvoted on that one. I'll reserve judgement on the cannon until it's finished.
Up, up and away!
