I had this model lying around for so long and needed a break from my Vostroyan project I got to paint him up. Most pictures of this limited editon model that GW provide are with lots of brownish tones and reminds me of some kind of cowboy.
I went for a Vampire hunter D inspired look. Yeah I know, my paintjob looks like a cheap rip-off, but then again... there's not much to when the model looks a lot like him and your base color is black, heh. The model might even remind me a bit of The undertaker (that wrestling guy)
I absolutely love that model, Does anyone know if they still make it?
On the paintjob, I like the colours, but it looks a little messy around the cloak and legs,
It is a very nice try... although some more highlight to black would do only good!
Thanks to all the people showing faith in me
I sometimes feel that everyone will leave me and they will be on their own...
Overall I like the guy - nice, simple paint job that stresses the dark and mysterious look. As mentioned above I think the black areas could do with some more highlighting and a bit of cleaning up around the cloak and leg area. Other than that very nice.
Any chance of some pictures of the back of the model?
well what can i say about this model, it looks very interesting. your highlighting looks well done however maybe a suttler transition would be required. apart from this id just like to say i love Hunter |D and love this mini, well done
