hey everyone. I was reading the chapter approved hunting beast thing and i liked the idea of a pack of war beasts for my eldar, but i cant think of any beast that really makes sense for the eldar, anyone have an idea of an existing model that i could adapt or some way to model something that makes some sense for eldar? is the whole idea non-feasible fluff wise?
Depending on what you Eldar are themed on they could be anything.
For example, Eldar exodites are often pictured with dragons etc, so a Craftworld that has ties to exodites may have a flock of drakes or something as hunting beasts.
Great Cats could also work - i.e. the completely unfluffy High Elf White Lions that are pulling the even more nonsensical Chariot (that is another gripe of mine - why do Elves from a forested, mountain region have a chariot?) would make good hunting beasts.
Dovie'andi se tovya sagain (It's time to roll the dice)- Mattrim Cauthon
thanks for the help
i like the idea of a dragon but theres a lot of those out there because of the exodites
i was thinking i might try and make a necromancer farseer, you know someone who was charge of binding eldar spirits into wraithguard and wraithlords, and so i could make him a team of count as hunting beasts that would be some sort of lesser wraith constructs or animated wraithbone armor with nobody in it
any ideas on a model that would make sense for this, or some other sort of way to construct one of these?
once again, is this completely unfeasible fluff-wise?
you could always get the powder monkeys from the empire handgunner kit.
