Hello, I have a had pool table in my house for several years after buying it used, and if any of you are interested in playing lots of pool / warhammer 40k they are PERFECT. My table measures exact 4 x 8 and is splinter free and has a elivated edge so no models fall off. yes it is pricey but sometimes theres good deals on used ones. Anyone else out here that uses this setup? also playing actual pool is very fun too.
If I had one, I'd play on it. Currently, when I play at my house I just use our ping pong table. Not as nice a set-up as yours, but just plop on some terrain and it gets the job done.
haha yeah. at least the rest of it's green thoughHeh I used to play on a ping pong table when I was in school. They're big enough for some pretty large battles. The only problem is:
"Sir, we need to do something about those infiltrating rangers."
"They're over there... just past the big white line."
a friend of mine that played catacans and necons had a pooltable we found it perfect and used it quite often.
my advice go for it although terrain may be an issue
I love Pathfinders.
Indeed they are, although not a pool table me and my friends tend to use an air hockey table. Same concept but its white. Heck even the middle of the table is marked out for us.
A friend in a former house had a portable pool table, i never thought of using it for wargaming, would work though, too bad i live somewhere else now
One of my friends and I are going to play on a pool table soon.
But what I want to try is take an Air Hockey table and improve the air genoratior thingy blower thing. So that I blows stronger, and then we put our models on the table and let them loose!
All religion, my friend is simply evolved out of fraud, greed, imagination and poetry.
