In the mid-nineties, someone decided to make an anime based off of the japanese sci-fi monster movie "Zeiram". Not only did that show introduce me to anime, but for years I've thought that its female protagonist, Iria, was a really cool character and an archetype for what a woman should be: Heavily armed.
So I decided to convert a Seraphim Superior into something that looks like this:
As you can hopefully see, this won't be an easy task.I need to scratch build and paint an aerofoil for her jump pack, sculpt some elaborate hair, and do some sort of crazy conversion of the legs on a pre-existing figure (none of the GW fig's legs are posed like that). The last one will be a real doozy because while head swaps are relatively straightforward, what I'll need to do for the legs may be impossible on a metal model. I'm pretty new to sculpting and scratch-building so any advice or insight would be greatly appreciated
Im fairly new to the modeling scene myself so the only real advice I have is dont try to rush yourself. Seems simple enough but sometimes you get really caught up in your work and get sloppy wanting quick progress
