I love Pathfinders.
It's really quite hard to come with anything on any project in this early stage.
Whether or not it's a good idea tends to come down to the skill of the modeller. Some people can make a Stompa from nothing but sprues and papertissues and make it look awesome while others can buy a Titan from forgeworld and make it look like a mess of PVA and Resin.
The two KFC-things should be of the right shape I guess, but please come back with more pics or conceptual sketches or whatever.
Oh, and please use proper writing. You know, capitals and such?
I would suggest going to a garden store, and looking at the plastic flower pots, still cheap, and can take more of beating. I would hate to see you build a great looking model, and have it only last a few months due to cardboard failure. I myself build a stompa out of Plasticard, two flower pots, basswood, and bits.
