Does anyone know if a guide exists in which it depics how you would convert a incinerator to a psycannon? Thanks in advance
But the way I would do it is, (1) first cut off the front piece (the part that's painted gold in the GK box pictures). (2)Then with green stuff, expand the main body of the weapon so that it covers the pipes that were right behind the front piece. (3) After that, create a gun barrel.
Also, swapping out the fuel tanks for wires and/or magazines would probably make it look better.
Although it's not quite an Incinerator, I figure that a regular flamer has enough parts in common with it to give a rough idea of what I'm talking about:
(Ignore the red #1)
-----------------------------(1), and later (3)
Hope this helps

There is no such thing as a plea for innocence in my court. A plea for innocence is guilty of wasting my time. Guilty.

Alright thanks man.
i think i remember seeing a inquisitor model on the GW site which had the bolter turned into a psycannon by just bulking up the bolter with some green stuff.
"your the sculpting tool i never had"
I've looked into psycannons quite a bit, as I plan to have one on my custom inquisitor (someday, sigh). Who's going to use the psycannon? An Inquisitor? Brother Captain? Mounted on a dread?
Regardless, the "traditional" psycannon has a pretty plain shape to it, so you could take pretty much any hand-held gunlike object, I imagine, and with greenstuff form it into something that has that big black psycannon-esque shield. If you have a good tool and a steady hand you could probably make some kind or raised (or even non-raised) strips of writing to complete the look, but this might not be necessary. Only other thing you'd need is a big barrel on the end, which you could make with plastirod or plastitube and stick in the end of the greenstuff before it hardens.
Now, be aware that you don't have to make it like this, especially if it's for an Inquisitor. Someone from the Eisenhorn novels (I forget who now) had a psycannon mounted in a shoulder rig, perched like some sick version of a pirate's parrot and looking more heavy-bolter-ish, albeit with lots of =][= style trimmings on it. If you wanted to do this, you could use pretty much any bolter type with greenstuff, bits of plasticard/rod/tube, wires, etc., and a good paint job to do the trick.
There was also somebody once who made a psycannon that dangled from a chain carried by one of those creepy cherub familiar thingies. Others have created a little gun porter guy based on the Watcher in the Dark that carries Asrael's helmet.
Anyway, lots of possibilities here. These are just a few ideas. Good luck!
For mine I did it as cheaply as possible. I took some air drying clay, then made a cylinder around the burny end. Then I took a round sprue siding from a non GW product, but it short, and drilled a hole through it and glued it to the front. This was before I had GS, so it could be better. It got the job done though. Not sure why it even comes with an incinerator in the boxes.

Thanks for all the ideas. I'm planing on converting the terminator with the incinerator to a psycannon.
