    Easy terrain that looks great!!!

    i don't have any piks but i have a walk-through.
this is how to make teran thats been blown up by melta-stuff in 40k.

first get some stirofoem cut it into cool wall's and stuff.
then take some gray spray paint and spray over the wall's as fast as posibul dont get to much in one spot. then spray alot in some spots. the spray paint eats the stirofoem so you can't put to much or it'll just melt into a blob.

i dont know if some one has done this before or not but its great fun and if you put some spru bits in the hols then it looks like rebar in the concret.
    fave fun.

Are you seriously suggestion destroying terrain materials to make terrain?

Ok, but maybe just maybe you could get some pics of it so we can see if it looks good.

It actually works very well - I think it looks more like tyranid acid damage than melta damage (or at least how I imagine it) but it does work very well. You can achieve a similar (but distinct) effect by using superglue on styrofoam.

The process does produce some funky (in a bad way) fumes, so I would advise anyone trying it to do so in a well ventilated space.

I'd very much like to see your achievements with this method. Any chance of some pictures?

this was actually some of the very first terrain i made when i started playing in 1999-2000. Used some of the textured spray paint you can buy that has little bits in it(or maybe it hardens into little bits, not sure), gives it even more a craggy/blasted look. Works if you havent got anything else or are short on time or at someone's house and they dont have terrain and you didnt bring yours.

Well that not exactly destroying terrain. this method is used to make good volcanic and death world terrain. The same effects can be achieved by running a lit match over the foam and holding it in some places long so that it burns into the foam more. This has ben done before by yours truly and if you guys want Ill post what the final product looks like later.
