Welcome to Librarium Online!
Is simple green a strong enough paint stripper to take off the primer? I was given a can of white spray from a relative and it turned out really thick and ruined detail on about 20 marines.
If simple green isnt enough to do this, what should I use?
From what I hear simple green should do the job fine.
Up, up and away!
I believe Simple Green is what's usually recommended for paint stripping, so it should work... I use Castrol Super Clean, just because I have a lot of it, and it works quite nicely as well.

DOT 3 Brake fluid works about as strong on plastic minis, but WAY better on pewter.
I haven't tried Simple Green. I use Brake Fluis DOT 3 and they are very nice in stripping paint. But their disposal is a point to be careful on as it is not easy!
