A friend of mine who recently got out of warhammer gave me his entire battle force, and I was wondering how you could convert the scouts it comes with to chaos?
Spikes, really with the new Chaos dex the only real difference between CSM and SM is spikes.
Well, I mean what would be the best unit for them to be converted to "count as". I would use cultist but they took those out so now I really dont know. I wouldnt do them as regular CSMs due to that they dont have power armor but dont wanna waste them.
Lesser Demons? maybe they teleport via the warp and what not?
I had planned on similar before but couldnt quite get the right theory as to how they become to be :/
In the name of the Emperor and for the Glory of the Imperium... Gimme Back My Girlfriend! :(
Oh... Hmm.. I honestly don't know what they could possibly be used for as a 'counts as'
just convert the scouts into horrors? or some other kind of lesser daemon...I'd turn them into cultists, even though you can't use them, I still think they are cool
As always with conversions it depends on your skill and dedication. I mean you could convert them into CSMs, PlaugeMarines or whatever really...
Yuo could use them to act as carriers of a Nurgle Palanquin (sp?) or as victims on bases. You could also try to swap them for what ever you think you could use with less effort put into it.
Raptors? Possessed? Glue them all together and use them as a Greater Daemon or Spawns?
The only limit is your own imagination and patience.
I was going to say, how 'bout they "count as' something you can trade with a Marine player for money / bits? ;o really, basic Chaos marines are the smallest models in a CSM army (think termies, oblits, chsoen etc.), so if they don't work out, then it's probably not going to happen. they are definitly not daemonic looking, nor interesting enough for familiars...
The best bet would be mixing the bits in with your current and future marines: giving normal CSM'c the unarmoured scout bolter arms would make them look cool, and the heads arn't too different etc...
