    Forge World Administratum

Not sure if this should go here or in the painting forum, but as it’s a piece of scenery I recon here’s a good start.

    http://www.librarium-online.com/foru...ng-things.html (Finishing things!)

I picked this up from eBay last year in a rather sorry state; it had been sprayed black without first being washed so was rather ‘peely’. It was also fairly smothered in casting lines.
The walk-ways were missing along with the mounting brackets and the walls had that ‘you’re gona need a belt sander, to get us to line up’ look about them.
That said it’s a nice piece with loads of detail; I added various bits such as rebar, barbed wire and a few posters/proclamations, as well as a somewhat ‘wobbly’ walkway, which is wider than the original. Still a few bits to add in the form of some ‘overlooked moulding line hiding’ cam nets, scorch marks, more dust and some blood etc.
Anyway here’s some pictures, let me know what you think.

Also, you should google "garfield minus garfield". Awesome.

I love the old school metal you're sporting there. Nice paint! I pack nothing but the old metal Cadians and Mordians. God, how I long for those days.

    Thanks for all the feedback.

@ RexTalon: I origionally painted the metal IG back in the '90's, with some seriously ugly bases, black armour and brown web gear. I dug them out of storage as part of my suposedly self motivating 'Finishing things' thread in projects.

    http://www.librarium-online.com/foru...ng-things.html (Finishing things!)

I rebased them all, repainted the helmets and armour a dark olive green and repainted all the webbing. I think they look a lot better for it. Still got all the old Storm troopers brown belt kit to repaint. Saves me buying new stuff, I just slowly repaint all the old!

    Heres a few close ups:

    Thanks a lot.
The posters were fairly straight forward; just Google propaganda posters and click for an image search, you'll find loads.
I tend to insert them into a word document, as its easy to make multiple dupes and different sizes.
Then press the 'make printer go' button and 'Hurrah'!
