Welcome to Librarium Online!
I am about to get a necron army and am hoping to get input on my ideas around painting them. Im thinking of a dark rich blood red backing with either a light controlled black ink-wash around the edges or a light green overcoating. Another idea i had is thin green spiderweb pattern over then top of the units flat areas then a black wash. the only problem with that is ive never done any free work like that before, so if som1 has done it please advise on the skill recquired to pull it off. (I've been modeling for years and am rather good..... well the best in my area usually i use washes to great effect but am thinking of branching out a bit.) Muy final thought was between a high gloss sealer or more of a flat antiglare. Input Please

I think the ideas you have sound like the makings of an incredibly cool looking necron force! 8Y
I'm not sure as to how much skill you need for that kind of work, but what I do advise is to try it out on a piece of paper or an old model, that way you can see for yourself.
Can't wait for some pictures dude!
Awesome ideas. Not sure how much help i can be on the tips front, but definitely give it a go! And im gonna want to see pics of how it turns out
