OKay, I've just got Balrog Wings for my Tyrant and was wondering how I should apply them to the model. Is there a turorial anywhere that shows how to get them on? I ask this because I'm not that good at modelling and don't want to ruin the model by doing it wrong .
Here is a link to a winged Hive tyrant that uses Balrog wings.

However that is a very heavily converted Hive tyrant. This one uses Forge world wings but they are similar to Balrog wings and you could find it helpful to look at.

Great thanks. I've got an idea now of how to model them ^_^
"Technically" they are supposed to be mounted in place of a pair of arms. But I think they look just as good behind the arms. I'd recommend either pinning them into arm sockets or pinning them behind the arms, just off the carapace, and using greenstuff to blend them in.
Here's how I did mine: CoolMiniOrNot - Tyranid Flying Hive Tyrant by TamCoan
Not the best greenstuff work but it turned out ok.
On that second link that Leech posted, how did they convert it to have the talons be like wrist mounts? That is amazing!
Eldar Craftworld Igsolus-Toc (reset for 5th)

Tyranids Hive Fleet Oceanus (reset for 5th)
0 / 0 / 0 WIP around 1600 points
2000pts Chaos Space Marines
Soon to be getting Necrons
I'm putting them into in the top arm socket. I found an old image of one that someone made and I'm gonna do it like that.
That's a good paintjob by the way TamCoan.
