I'm currently trying to build a Slaanesh army thatís true to its godís domain. Most ideas I bring up with my friends are shot down due to the nature of the idea - but when I point out females are often wearing less than full armor in many cases they give the argument. This doesnít mean that Iím going to depict intimate acts on a battle field, especially a play one, but where is the line?
Has anyone ever seen any guidelines for "explicit content" in modeling? And if not how far should I take this - more from a modeling rather than gaming perspective?
Nurgles and Korn are both able to depict their armies appropriately with rot, decay and bloody violence respectively.

I have a pole dancing daemonette in the works and that's as far as I'd go.
And over there we have the labyrinth guards.
One always lies, one always tells the truth, and one stabs people who ask tricky questions.
It really depends on the purpouse of your army. Is it an army you'll use to play at your local GW store, maybe against 12 yearolds? Well, then there's a reason for you to think twice about where to draw the line. And stay well on the good side of it.
Will you be playing it against friends about your own age? Then I think you can take it as far as you wish. If you ever make a model looking perverted enough to mae you wonder if it'd suit the public you chose then you better just leave it at home for the evening.
Then there's the arts perspective on modelling too. I often chose this and here you can take it as far as you can imagine. It's not always allowed to be shown in all it's glory on sites like this though. Icterius on this board had to cover the privateparts of his Great Unclean One for example and I have some models I don't even dare too look at myself But they are not primary gamingpieces more like therapy or...art.
well nakedness is always so much worse than blood and gore apparently.... according to the australian censorship place, they took all the sex scenes out of grand theft auto... but the game is violent as hell anyway... and lots of other games have been banned from this country for having sexual acts, but we don't mind swearing in excessive amounts or chopping peoples heads off with a sword while he walks around headless hoping on bikes (another gta reference)... but don't the slanesh models now already have exposed breasts? I'd say that was the line, any genitals would be over the line, not for me but probably for other players.
Well, depends on the players and your own views. I know someone who's doing a Slaanesh army, but her Daemonettes, and well different. As they incluse children, and the view is, Pedophiles can even be in the IG. She also has some men ones, and lots of other ones.
Not sure if you've seen it or not, but there is a very well done female slaanesh army that is decently explicit.
@Anto - Your friends are telling you that you're a sick perv.
I get the impression you've an unhealthy obsession with bewbiez.
And I don't think polling for perversion ideas is appropriate to a family forum.
Whether it's a troll or not (I don't think so, personally), it raises an interesting point, which runs parallel to all the anti-GTA/Duke Nukem/sex/drugs/violence debates going on out there, and it's legit to worry about how some kid's parent will react to what you're playing with against their child.
Course, like Andy said, if you're that worried about it, it's probably best to err on the side of caution, and keep (insert potentially offensive model here) at home, reserved for private games with mature players, etc.
That's the best advice, and if your store has a problem with something you're fielding I wouldn't fault them from banning it, but it's too bad that has to happen. Yes, some male players have an unhealthy obsession with bewbiez, but then, many players are just crossing the bridge into puberty, so that has to be expected, along with the inevitably immature reaction to any depiction of the female form, whatever the initial intent of the artist.
It should also be stressed, too, that not everyone who depicts nudity is a perv. There's a reason all the renaissance-era nudes haven't been burned or otherwise branded as an advert for hedonism and debauchery. There is such a thing as nudity produced for artistic purposes rather than Beavis-and-Butthead-esque giggling. Unfortunately, gaming tables are not always the setting for the dignified artistic appreciation one would find in an art gallery.
Bottom line: tread cautiously.
Yeah, i never get that, how is showing a female breat worse than showing a mutilated body?
I say give 'em all full genitalia. Call it art, noone objects to david of davinci .
Got a "good" rumour from a GW staffer? Forget about it, LO'ers know more than any random GW shop staffer.
