I have a board 6x4'4" with the extra 4 inches I just had a thought of maybe putting a boarder of rubble around the edge of the board, so its visable where the edge of the board is just at a quick glance.
the basic idea is like when your playing an FPS and when they don't want you wandering off somewhere they just fill it with rubble...
So around the edge for the extra 2 inches each side just have small piles of rubble to indicate quickly the end for use of running off the board or entry points...
what does everyone think?
IT works. Thats actaully a pretty good idea, gives you a place to put the figures removed as casulties. Go for it.
It will be a fair bit of sprues to cover 12foot x 2inches worth of area but I'm sure it will make the edges interesting instead of just falling off the earth.
Hey I like to think that my models are falling off the edge of the table. LOL
Haha not for me, its just too simple, and I've been making lots of spike traps, if they lined the edge of the table it would be more realistic that they run into it and die... and tank traps as well.
