I'm planning a spacemarine tactical squad with the colours and symbol of the norwegian train system NSB. Just for fun, in a diorama with railroad tracks. The problem is the heraldy on the shoulderpads. The logo is similiar to the imperial eagle and dark angels symbol. I want the symbol to have clear and sharp edges, not the 'furry' finish i usually get. Any ideas on how to achieve that, a clean and sharp icon?

First paint the logo as normal, then paint over the blurry edges with the base color of the pad - but carefully...
Should fix the problem in no time.
Maybe use a straight-edge brush and do what the_fifth_horseman said. or use a decal, if its really similar to the DA logo. You can always modify the decal a bit.
Just an idea: try painting it as normal, then outline it in black using a 005 Micron pen. I love this pen for detailing.
wot colour is the symbol and wot coulours the base colour of the pad?
thanks for the tips all of you, sounds smart. I gotta get one of those straight edge brushes, I can't believe I haven't thought of it before. One of those micro pens would be great too. You know Fat Bloke uses it to blackline his whitescars?
And Gundamfan, are there straight edged brushes in the GW or Cotman ranges?
The symbol is white, shaped like it is on the picture on the top of this thread, only without the oval in the background. The shoulderpads are red gore.
