How would you go about painting albino skin? Would you do it white, or bone or even grey?
I've never had much joy with painting white, googling albino shows that the skin itself isn't actually white, but given that the majority of marine model are bald leaves little room for just painting the hair on something white.
I was thinking maybe a skull white basecoat with a red ink wash and layered up to bone with white highlights? Give it a pinkish kinda a tinge.
I can't say I've seen it all but I live for the things that keep me hollow.
If I tried to paint albino, I'd probably fail spectacularly...
BUT, if I did, I would first paint it in a mixture of 4 parts white, 1 part red. Then i would give it a VERY watered down pink wash...
So... if I gave some daemons a matte paint-job, would they be "Matte Daemons?"

Several years back I made up a figure for the Soul Drinkers representing Tellos. Now technically he had "clear" skin rather than albino but I painted him up in a similar manner to it.
I seem to recall using Vallejo model colors.
I believe I started with model color Ivory - though it is possible I started with a gray first.
Washed with a mix of purple and flesh ink (very watered down)
highlighted with Ivory
highlighted with off-white
highlighted with white
If anything I might go with a more redish wash over the purple/flesh but I would make sure that it is very very watered down. I might even mix watered down red ink into the darkest colors first...
