Welcome to Librarium Online!
the thing that stuck me as i opened my new box of chaos worriors was the lack of halberds (this is soon to be rectifyed in november) but im waiting for enough of the new modols as it is so i began converting. first thing i wanted was a dynamic frontage to the unit so i got all the shafted wepons (axes, maces, hamers ect..) into one pile and all the swords in another i fitted all the bodys together as standard then i got a axe hand and cut of a small piece of shaft under the hand(the end without the axe head on).then got a mace, hamer or other and cut the wepon head of then glued it so that ithe shaft of the left hand wepon alined with the right one this was done horosontally i did this for the front rank and the sides of the regiment however for the others i had to use the trimmed axe (referd to earlyer) and used any brass rod spare spears of simmilar thickness or even a cut down shafted wepon wiyh these ones you can have them holding sields as well. on the other horizontal halberds the shield must be on backs. if you follow these guidlines you can have a full regiment quite quickly however ranking these guys is a real pain (i put numbers on base to represent place in movement tray!!!) i will be adding pics as soon as ive painted them to a good standard (undercoated at the moment).
One of my friends tried this with his Chaos Warriors and he put the modles on the base diagonally, so the weapon hafts were corner to corner and they ranked up really well. It was just a matter of finding where on the base they fitted best
thanks for the tip ill be posting photos realy soon got to finish 6 more chosen to make them desired size they wil have 19 str5 attacks from front!!! also got to base but that will happen when i run out of other stuff to do!
Because your posts were never so large, I never noticed this before.
Please, please use capitalisation and paragraphs. It makes your posts much, much easier to read. Your spelling and punctuation could use a little more work but they don't irritate me as much.
And over there we have the labyrinth guards.
