Well, I know its been done, but I wanted to save money and besides I can make more dynamic poses cutting up a plastic warrior.
The flayed skin was made by stretching greenstuff out really then wrapping it and pulling and just letting it drape naturally. I cut holes in it where I wanted the necron beneath to show through. While I only have 2 posted here, I made 8 in all, but 4 just got primed and the all blackness didnt show up well enough to warrant an image.
So, lets hear it. C&C necessary.
btw, this is as good as the macro setting gets on my camera, so its a bit grainy.
Flayed One 1
Flayed One 2
Thats really cool, Great job I especially like the second one.
Keep it up.
The second on looks like a Kung-fu master from behind. Always a plus in my book. ;Y

They look awesome, great job.
I believe the first person to post their Flayed Ones converted like this here on LO was Gojiratoho. They were awesome.
And they are still awesome, posted by nillic! I think the poses are pretty awesome, far superior to the metal models, though I'm not sure I'm sold on the GS skin. The second model's limited amount of skin definitely appeals to me more than the first model's big splotches of it. I think I'd have to see them painted to really get a feel for the detail.
Very nice work, I hope to see more!
I've always thought about this, then it hits me like a ton of bricks "I don't have or want a necron army" but at least it looks as good as I figured it would. nice stuff
Great work they look really cool, better than the originals. Waiting to see them painted so I can really comment cause I don't know the first thing about modelling.
Haha GW you lose this round.
CHK CHK BOOM!
Great job! I always thought if I ever add flayed ones to my army I'd simply HAVE to do something like this, as opposed to the sheepish "Edward Scissorhands" poses in the "standard" models. Plus, it is loads cheaper. What are you going to do with the guns?
