    Sprinkle a little Khorne...

Well, my daemons have been getting some attention of late, starting with the repainted bloodthirster:

I had a bad feeling that spray varnishing this guy would go awry...and it did a bit :C. It's not too bad, but a little annoying nonetheless.

And on to the first set of bloodletters, just one rank painted so far. These guys were sprayed black and then sprayed red (It some cases a bit too red, they're shining...). I took the time to wrap masking tape around their swords to keep an even coat. Inking brown followed by red gore on the raised area (and blood red highlights on the face/joints) make it fairly quick to do (for my slow speed).

Having an army and not owning a rulebook is like owning a car with no steering wheel.

Them little fellas are pretty nice Rork, though get some darn bases on 'em!
Very nice overall look, I think the army will look very nice when you start getting a few units all done together...

The big chap's reds seem a little flat, though that might be problems with your varnish flattening it out in the pic-a-chures...
Otherwise nice, although I do hate that head with a passion...

Yeah, the 'thirster is one ugly sod.

Looking good though Rork. I think these will look awesome when the units are complete. Just do the bases properly, will ya?

Hey, mimicing is a great compliment, you know? I could just have copy-pasted your post but that would have been a bit lame I think.

So, Rorkie, these are coming to the LO meet then?

Look good so far. Am currently working on bloodletters myself, and recently finished (well painted) a thirster as well. Though he is not put together yet... *kicks the metal and the pinning)...Anyway that aside. they look good.

You know what I find more amusing than the fugly head? The chain G-string the Bloodthirster model sports.

Rork, if you could be so kind as to take a picture from behind the model we can show everyone what's new in the Victoria's Secret catalogue.

I was rebuliding and repainting a Bloodthirster for a good friend of mine and we both noticed the chain, that was quickly covered over with a green stuff cloth.

And I add my voice to the comments made here, get some basing done, even if it just a some old fashioned green flock and everything will look a great deal better, I'd also recommend painting the side of the bases too, it makes everything look more uniform and neat, but I suspect the might Flork may already know this.
