Welcome to Librarium Online!
I was sitting here drawing ideas up for mechanical arms to help ork shootas hold the guns in interesting ways without having to move the head too much or make them look retarded.
And I was thinking has anyone ever seen an ork made completely out of like plasticard and sprues? I might get started on it when I get home for plans, but I reckon it would be interesting at the very least.
so some features would be...
- perhaps a brain case at the back of the head, or inside the head, visible if possible.
- glowing eyes, but with my limited electronic experience, it probably won't happen.
- totally piston operated. (not sure if they will be moving pistons, but I'll try)
- massive, or at least large power-pack to operate the whole body.
- ridiculous weapon on one arm. (maybe count as warboss with cybork body and twin-linked shoota)
- giant power klaw, a little more sleek in design than the ork variants, but obviously ork-manufactures none-the-less.
I will be drawing plans up today and see what I can make tonight/tomorrow.

Uh, I'm not sure what you intend from those links, unless it has something to do with the legs of the warboss biker?
anyway I found time to scan my picture/ideas so here it is.
The top two are ideas for allowing shootas to hold their guns with a single hand, another design I had was to just strap a plasticard "plank" to the arm, and wrap it around tight, so the orks arm doesn't move when he shoots it, and another that is like a sling that holds the gun.
as you can see, the hands and legs are probably the easiest parts to make, the spine I will make using plasticard rod a few mm thick and running a thin rod down through it to give it a bit of flexibility. the ribcage I also intend to make with bent plasticard rods.
The skull will be traditionally orky, the jaw will be piston controlled as well, and the brain seems to be the one part I can't think of how to make, I do have plasticard rods thick enough, but none see-through, but I'll see what I can come up with when it gets to there.
The gun designs are a smallish minigun that the hand simply locks into and the other is just a modified shoota, maybe with some ammo clips coming out of it.
So now what does everyone think? Does it look viable.
Perhaps put a lot of plastirod pieces of various lengths in a cavity inside its skull. Paint them to look glassy and say they are "Vakuum Toobz". Hey, it's Ork technology - as in, half of it works only cause Orks believe it should.
If a Mek believes his new Terminatork will function then it's going to do so.
hmmm... I really want to have an actual floating brain, I think it would be totally kick-ass, make it out of GS, fix some wires to it and put a little water in it.
Well I remember, The Warforge: Miniature Modelling & Conversion I think, or maybe just different wording, hes a legend, made so many awesome things.
Thanks for the help but I was looking for thinner legs, I want it to sort of look half terminator half ork if you get me?
This going to be difficult me thinks. Maybe instead of doing the normal 28mm Ork boy you could make this one here that you are going to do 54mm (Inquisitor scale) especially considering how fidelly is gonna be ?
Your plan is very good though, nice drawing:happy:.
CHK CHK BOOM!
Yeah it will certainly be bigger than the average boy, even by a bit, I've made mek arms totally out of card only a fraction larger than the old ones, so I'm not worried.
Just wish I didn't have these monkey hands. and if worse comes to worse with the size I'll call him a mega armored nobinator, but I think warbosses are bigger than regular boyz so it shouldn't be too hard.
After a few days I got some work done, but have been too lazy to actually post it, so here it is.
obviously some degree of detail was lost, because I had no idea exactly how small the parts were when I drew it, the gun for now is just default until I find some cool parts for it, and gluing wires is out of the question for a bit because of the super thin parts, the klaw is also (obviously) absent, but I will make it as soon as possible.
Hows everyone feel about it now?
the whole brain in a bottle idea won't work now because that means I'll have a blob of GS about 2 mm across, its just WAY too finicky, even a pixie would have trouble with something so small.
