Vindicator- direct guns all the way!
Whirlwind- DEATH FROM ABOVE!
Alright, so here's my latest creation, and first post in the modelling section. If you can't see it from my shoddy pictures (I need a camera here!) it's a rhino chassis with the top cut off, and the gun platform from a basilisk glued in its place. The gun of course was cut down to a suitable length. There's a picture of it at the bottom here.
I imagine this tank as a vindicator, rolling forwards and smashing right up against a building to blast out whole floors with it's massive cannon.
However, my friend thought that it was a Whirlwind, since I left the cannon free to move up and down, and it's an indirect-fire weapon to begin with ("why would a siege tank have the gunners in the open?")
So- what do you guys think?
I'd say a Vindi It looks like the demoshiler cannon on the roof
Vindi has my vote. Looks more like a cannon than a missile launcher.
definatly vindacator, thats barrel is huge!

As much as I was tempted to say Whirlwind to disagree, I have to say Vindicator.
A siege tank would have gunners in the open because they are Space Marines and therefore have no fear
It could be a Whirlwind, the cannons barrel is a bit to long for a demolisher and it could fire a cluster of bombs. But it does look more like a Vindicator.
