Hi I am new nad I need a little help mounting an eldar farseer with sing spear on a jet bike for my new saim hann army that i starting so a list of bitz/ pics would be good and some directions thanks
I've been planning the same thing for my Biel Tan for a while..
As far as I can see you've got two options.
1) cut off his torso and fit it to guardian jetbiker legs, then you make the bottom of the robe with green stuff.
2) Cut off the farseers head and fit it to a shining spears body. Convert the lance to a singing spear, or swap his equipment.. This is what I'm gonna do. Farseers don't HAVE to wear a robe, and if I paint the armour the same color as the rest of the wraithbone in the army, it will look like some solid rune armour. I think it will look great!
Good luck, let me know what you're gonna do
Ave Dominus Nox!
the first good thing ive seem a sinning spear do.

I've always thought a cool way to do that for a Saim-hann army would be mounting him on one of these.
The fluff for the army could be something like: "Chaos infected the ground, so only those who rode jetbikes etc. could escape the plague."

Personnaly, I am industiously working on my Siam Hann, for my first HQ I have my wild rider chief, I have converted the bike by adding the wings of a PHantom Titian to the back, then converted the figure by using the torso off a guardian, the left arm off a banshee and the guardian head without a helmet to which I have added copious quantities of gren stuff hair.
For my second HQ (once I done a further 3 vypers and 10 or so bikes to add to the ones I done already) I will be taking a farseer.
Absoluthor is right about option one - the most common conversion for a farseer or warlock on a bike is to cut the figure with a spear in his right hand and a shurken pictol in his left in half, cut off the pistol had, then use the legs and left hand off the standard bike model and add green stuff robes.
Option 2 he gave you is true at the begining, there is no role that says Farseers or warlocks have to wear dresses. But I do disagree with his choice of figures, shining spears armour and weapon is set up around a medival knight carrying a lance, it is not a spear.
Personnally, I supect the back of my farseers bike will be carrying another Phantom wing (I knew I kep my epic eldar for a reason) but for the figure I am loath to go down the standard route (option 1 given above) the head will have to be off a farseer or warlock model (posibly converted eldrad), the legs will undoubtedly be off the standard bike wih our without robes added. I am considering using the torso off a Hrlequin model though
Everything you have been told is a lie!
